Moonbound respects your privacy. This app is designed to work fully on-device and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Camera & Photo Library

Moonbound uses your camera to detect lunar features live through your telescope. Feature detection runs entirely on-device. If you choose to save a photo, it is written directly to your device's Photos library — Moonbound does not upload, transmit, or retain a copy anywhere else.

Data Collection

Moonbound stores your observation journal exclusively on your device. No data is transmitted to any external server or third party.

Accounts & Tracking

Moonbound does not require user registration, does not implement analytics, and does not include third-party tracking software or SDKs.

Cloud Sync

There is no cloud sync in Moonbound. All data remains on your device at all times. No backup or syncing service is connected.
